All the models have all had a journey in life involving teenage cancer.

I want to thank all the models who took part, you showed off the garments beautifully! I feel so proud to have taken part.

We had a great time at the BeInspired2 charity fashion show supporting Cystic Fibroses. We got some amazing shots from the night by the photographer Philip Stanley Dickson (www.psdphotography.com)

Yummy fashion

Macaroons are what the fashionistas are eating. These small round cakes which are, crunchy on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle are stealing the limelight from the cupcake. These rainbow coloured cakes are a truly delicious treat. Believe me they taste as good as they look, you will be converted after your first bite!

Dare to be red!

Red is the new black. Exchange the little black dress for a hot red number. The colour normally associated with the festive season has become the ultimate colour to add to your wardrobe weather you are brave enough to wear it as a dress or take the more subtle approach and work it into your accessories.

Celebrating wool

This week is Wool Week, a global initiative founded by HRH Prince Charles and supported by Nicholas Coleridge managing director of Condé Nast. This campaign is designed promote British wool to designers and the public.

Almost 400 retailers and close to 70 fashion labels across the country will this week campaign for British wool. Earlier this week Selfridges http://www.selfridges.com/ two flocks of yellow sheep down Oxford Street, while Savile Row was closed as sheep grazed in a specially laid pasture, tended to by two farmers dressed in Anderson & Sheppard bespoke wool suits.

It seems like a few interesting and unusual things might be happening in London with this wool week.

In Kakao we love our knits so we will make sure they are all nicely on desplay this week to support the initiative.
